The Keeper, Cute Sentient Rock Creature, is a reference to the Hail Mary Project and, to a lesser extent, the Horta from the Star Trek TOS episode, Devil in the Dark. Counts as the Scientist or the Cute Fuzzy Alien Creature for use in Star Fluxx.
