The Shakespeare Beta Free Spool Reel is a practical and affordable fishing reel designed for carp, specimen and general coarse fishing.

Featuring a convenient free spool system, this reel allows line to be taken from the spool with minimal resistance when a fish picks up the bait. The free spool function can then be disengaged to bring the main drag system into operation when playing a fish.

Ideal for ledgering and static bait presentations, the Shakespeare Beta Free Spool Reel offers anglers a versatile setup for targeting carp, tench, bream and other freshwater species.

Whether you're putting together your first carp fishing outfit or looking for a reliable spare reel, the Beta Free Spool provides straightforward functionality and excellent everyday value.
