The Westin W3 Powershad 3rd Generation is an upgraded all-round predator spinning rod designed for fishing both soft plastics and hard lures. Westin has retained the proven Powershad action while upgrading the rod with a Torayca High Performance Carbon blank, improving responsiveness and sensitivity when detecting subtle takes.

With models covering lighter perch and zander work through to more powerful pike fishing, the W3 Powershad is particularly well suited to shads, jigs, crankbaits and other artificial lures. Westin recommends pairing the range with 3000–4000 size spinning reels.
