Water, pale sand and wet pavement throw light back upward, into the part of a child's view a hat brim does not cover. Reflected glare like that is exactly what a polarized lens is for.

The Aviator in Sunset is a pair of children's polarized sunglasses from GRECH & CO., built on a TR90 flexible frame with polarized tri-acetate cellulose (TAC) lenses, UV400 and Category 3. The polarized lens handles reflected glare, the Category 3 tint handles overall brightness, and the TR90 frame is there because eyewear that bends rather than snaps is eyewear that comes back out of the bag the next day. Sizes run Baby through Adult, and Sunset is the same Sunset in each of them.

Care TAC lenses are made up of 7 protective layers, and water can cause the layers to lift and damage the sunglasses. Avoid exposure to water, and dry the lenses thoroughly if they do get wet. Do not store under direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
