Most of what makes a bright day hard on the eyes is reflected light, off water, off sand, off a wet road. Polarized lenses cut that reflection, which is a different thing from a lens simply being dark.

GRECH & CO.'s Aviator Polarized Sunglasses in Cinnamon are children's sunglasses with polarized TAC (tri-acetate cellulose) lenses, UV400 and a Category 3 tint, held in a TR90 flexible frame that gives when it is handled instead of sitting rigid. Sizes run from the baby frame at 107mm across with 100mm temples, through the child and teen frames, to an adult size in the same Cinnamon ~ one design carried through the stages rather than restarted at each one. One thing worth knowing before it goes near a swim bag: the TAC lens is built in layers and water can lift them, so these are sunglasses for the poolside rather than the pool.

Care TAC lenses are made up of 7 protective layers. Water can cause the layers to lift and damage the sunglasses, so avoid exposure to water and dry the lenses thoroughly if they do get wet. Do not store under direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
