The association between SOS and phrases like "Save Our Ship" and "Save Our Souls" are rooted in folklore. SOS has been the International Morse code distress signal since 1908. It was chosen as such due to its recognizability, being the only nine-element signal in Morse code.

Crafted in stainless steel, this ring keeps the signal close at hand.
