This beautiful hand-thrown ceramic bowl is a lovely size for olives, nuts, dips and other snacks. Made in Sussex from stoneware clay, it combines speckled clay with a distinctive indigo and white glaze.
Each bowl is individually wheel-thrown and fired twice, first at 1000°C for the bisque firing and then at 1260°C for the glaze firing. The result is a hard-wearing piece designed for everyday use.

Windmill Pottery was founded by potter Anna Sandberg in 2015. The studio created functional, hand-thrown pottery designed for everyday life, inspired by Anna's Swedish roots and her love of simplicity, generous forms and stripes.
Anna worked with stoneware clay on the wheel, mixing pigments to create a distinctive palette for her pieces. They were fired to over 1200°C, making them suitable for everyday use and dishwasher safe.
Inspired by her Swedish roots, Anna's work is shaped by simplicity, generosity of form and a soft spot for stripes.
