About the Maker

Our dinner candles are made from English beeswax in a small workshop in Cumbria, where the traditional hand-dipping technique has been used for over 40 years. The process involves repeatedly dipping wicks, hung from a frame, into molten wax, gradually building each candle layer by layer. Each layer is allowed to cool before the next is applied, creating these beautifully simple, slow-burning candles.
