A fishing scene printed across 35mm elastic: a trout breaking the surface, an angler in waders working the bank, and a dressed fly in orange and cream. The ground is deep river green, so from a distance the braces read as a plain colour and only show their detail up close.

Gold-tone clips hold at the waistband, with matching gold-tone adjusters on each strap to set the length. The clip fitting means no buttons are needed inside the trouser, which suits an everyday pair of cords or moleskins as readily as a country jacket and tie.

• 35mm elastic braces in a printed angling design
• Gold-tone clips and sliding adjusters
• Green ground with trout, angler and fly motifs

They arrive in a presentation gift box, which makes them easy to hand over to a fisherman at Christmas or a birthday.
