Delft Garden is a celebration of some of my most treasured flowers and the memories they carry. Inspired by the gardens of my childhood orchard in the Bay of Plenty, this piece brings together many of the blooms I have loved for as long as I can remember.

One of my fondest memories is waiting for the delphiniums to emerge each October. After months of anticipation, their tall spires of colour would appear, marking the arrival of spring. I've also always felt there is something magical about sunflowers and the joy they bring to a garden.

This artwork reflects my appreciation for nature's rhythms—the excitement of new growth, the beauty of cherished flowers, and the connection between gardens, memories, and home.
