Shot by photographer duo Gilles Mimouni & Jean-Paul Dumas-Grillet, with an intro by celebrated French travel writer Muriel Cerf who expands upon the complexities of growing up.

Influential in terms of capturing the poetic moodiness of youth explored by later photographers such as Rineke Dijkstra, but also full of well-worn fashion references that balance delicate with hardwearing.
