The product of a years-long collaboration with Chen Chen and Kai Williams, the Sidewinder is an enigmatic kinetic sculpture moonlighting as a knife. Named for the oscillating tracks left in the sand by its serpentine namesake, motion is at the core of its design philosophy: rather than a fixed handle, an interlocking mechanical hilt sees two opposing elements move in sympathy with the blade itself, producing a truly unique unsheathing mechanism.

Formed entirely of stone washed and black PVD-coated stainless steel, the Sidewinder boasts a heft that feels authoritative in the hand but never unwieldy — perfectly pocketable, yet equally content displayed on a desk, shelf, or mantle, soaking in the wonder its curious form will undoubtedly attract.
