The Permatex Biodegradable Ground Cover is a woven textile comprising a unique mix of two polymers. Compliant with the European standard for compostability (EN 13432), the material contains no harmful substances and is both biodegradable and compostable. 

After 3 years of efficient weed control, Permatex Biodegradable will eventually break down, depending on the environmental conditions (sun, temperature, water and oxygen) after which it will biodegrade and convert into humus, water and CO2.
