This pattern is ideal for a soft pure wool 4 ply or sock weight yarn maybe one of those skeins of hand dyed yarn you picked up at the last show you went to!? Use a larger needle than the yarn specifies to create a good drape. 

The finished scarf should measure around 22cm x 180cm, this is dependent on your tension and yarn that you select. The blue scarf featured here is Lang Mille Colori Baby

YOU WILL NEED

• 3 x 50g balls 4 ply yarn each 165m in length or similar quantity
• 4.5mm needles (at least 30cm long) or similar to get desired tension
• Scissors,
• Sewing up needle
• For blocking you will need blocking pins (or pins with beaded heads), tea towels, flat floor space
