This self-watering raised garden bed from Green Fingers suits balconies, decks and patios where space is limited. Its round white profile and black rubber rim sit neatly on the surface, giving a compact spot for growing herbs, vegetables and flowers.

The galvanised steel shell is treated to resist rust, and a wicking channel draws water from the base reservoir up to the roots. A water level gauge shows how much is left, helping you avoid both overwatering and dry soil. The sealed, leakproof base is designed to keep timber decking and tiles clean.

• Self-watering system keeps soil consistently moist
