Fill the 1.6L tank by hand or connect a tap water inlet, then start from the touch screen. Four balls form in each 30 to 40 minute cycle, depending on ambient temperature. An LED light and transparent window let you watch the ice form, and alerts signal low water or a full ice bin. Water quality affects clarity, and the unit needs minerals to work, so pure, distilled or RO water is not suitable.
