A rare and highly collectible 1950s 'Form Group' modular sofa designed by Robin Day for British furniture manufacturer Hille.

An important example of postwar British modernism, the Form Group range was conceived around the idea of flexible, adaptable seating. Comprising individual upholstered units, the sofa can be arranged in different configurations to suit a variety of interiors, reflecting Day's innovative approach to functional furniture design.

The design embodies the understated elegance of mid-century British furniture, with an emphasis on clean lines, balanced proportions, and practical versatility. Its modular construction allows the individual sections to be used together as a sofa or separately as individual seating.
