Why BIKA?

• Striking blue-stain grain — each piece is one-of-a-kind, with a natural blue hue unique to beetle kill pine
• Minimal footprint, maximum impact — sleek, modern design fits any home, studio, or garage
• Built to last — handcrafted by Canadian artisans with precision and care

The Story Behind the Wood

The mountain pine beetle has transformed millions of hectares of BC forest. At Killwood, we turn this environmental challenge into an opportunity — harvesting the fallen timber and crafting it into functional, beautiful objects. Every BIKA tells that story.
