Base Outer Diameter (including glass flange): 3.56 inches (approx. 90.4 mm). This flare rests cleanly on top of the jar's outer rim.
Fitment (Plug) Outer Diameter: 2.88 inches (approx. 73 mm). This is the width of the lower glass section that slips into the neck.

Dimensions of Flat Lid

Total Outer Diameter: 3.44 inches (approx. 87.4 mm). The flat, thin upper glass shoulder extends to this width to sit horizontally flush on top of the jar's outer rim.
Fitment (Plug) Outer Diameter: 2.88 inches (approx. 73 mm). This is the recessed glass step-down ring underneath the lid that plugs into the mouth of the jar.
