Say it without saying it. The DEF CON 34 Faceplate Scale is custom printed for this year's conference and its theme, Agency. It snaps onto your Keyport Pivot, Slide, or Anywhere Tools in seconds, adds 0.18 oz, and puts the year's design on the object you already pull out of your pocket forty times a day.
Keyport Faceplate Scales are removable side plates that allow you to customize your Keyport Pivot, Keyport Slide, or Anywhere Tools Bundles. Similar to knife scales, Faceplate Scales add both function and personalization to Keyport's modular key organizers, key holders, and keychain multi-tools.
Each DEF CON 34 Faceplate Scale features a durable stainless spring steel plate staked to a polycarbonate outer shell. The graphics are hardened on the outside of the PC shell with a special ink baked on with ultraviolet light, highly resistant to wear. The plate also puts a smooth surface between your keys and whatever else is in your pocket, which your phone screen will appreciate.
The fastener-free design makes snapping on a new Faceplate a literal snap, and removing one is easy with a paper clip, a pen tip, or the Module Removal Tool (MRT), which is the best option. Switch them whenever you like.
Note: Each Faceplate Scale is sold individually.

Three versions carry the DEF CON 34 design. This one is the standard plate. The NFC version adds a rewritable NXP NTAG215 chip you can program to share a link, a contact card, or a Wi-Fi credential. The glow-in-the-dark NFC version adds both the chip and a shell that charges under light and glows in the dark. All three fit the same chassis and swap the same way.
The Keyport Pivot, Slide 3.0 and 4.0, NEBA module, MOCA2 module, and the Module Pocket Clip, where it works as a money clip.
It premieres at DEF CON 34 in Las Vegas, and a limited number are available online while supplies last.
You need a small tool: a paperclip, a pen tip, or the Module Removal Tool (MRT), which is what we recommend. Depress the center dimple, slide the Faceplate backward, and lift it off. Watch the how-to video at 1:25.

It helps. The plate covers the outer face of the chassis with a smooth polycarbonate surface, so bare key edges are not what your phone is riding against in your pocket.
