Together, they offer thoughtful care for your gown, whether you're preparing at home, travelling to your wedding destination, or storing your dress long after the celebrations.
Crafted from 100% soft cotton, this extra-large bridal dress garment bag features two full-length side zips for easy placement and positioning of your gown. The cotton allows air to circulate, making it a breathable garment bag for wedding dress storage and travel. The fully enclosed design helps shield delicate fabrics, beading, and embellishments from dust, moths, other insects, and light exposure.
More spacious than our Large Garment Bag, this wedding dress cover measures 185 cm (72.8″) high x 80 cm (31.5″) wide x 40 cm (15.7″) gusset. Its generous gusset provides additional room for layered and tiered gowns, fuller skirts, princess dresses, ball gowns, and gowns with sweeping trains, depending on their dimensions and volume. Two cotton loops at the bottom allow you to fold the bag over the hanger for easier carrying and travel.
We recommend measuring your gown and checking the available space in your wardrobe or other hanging area to ensure a comfortable fit. The bag should hang freely without resting on the floor or a shelf.
ACID-FREE TISSUE PAPER
The included acid-free tissue paper helps protect delicate fabrics and gently cushion intricate detailing. Each sheet measures 75 cm (29.5″) long x 50 cm (19.7″) wide. Place sheets between fabric layers to help reduce rubbing, or loosely wrap or cover beading and embellishments to help prevent them from catching on surrounding fabric.
To help maintain the bodice's shape, lightly scrunch acid-free tissue paper into soft padding shaped to its contours. Wrap the padding in a smooth sheet of acid-free tissue paper, then gently place it inside the bodice without overfilling. Keep the wrapping loose and padding light to help preserve the shape of delicate fabrics and details. If your dressmaker recommends folding any part of your gown, place tissue within each loose fold to gently support the fabric and help minimise creasing.
