Trew Gear has been one of my favorite ski outerwear brands for years. It’s also always a blast working and partying with their crew when we host their “Trew To You” Movie Tour at our Burlington, VT shop each season. They’re Portland-based, adventure-focused, and all about keeping it positive, fun, not taking themselves too seriously, yet very serious about building badass gear! Sound familiar?

Last season around this time Trew’s founder, Chris and I were sitting at our J skis bar after their movie premier shooting the shit. By the end of the night we were scheming and dreaming up this collab. It’s always funner working with friends.

This design is inspired by Portland’s famous saying, “Keep Portland Weird”. TREW has always carried that spirit with their tagline “Stay TREW” and we often say “just weird enough to work.” So here we are, this shared energy transformed into a first ever ski AND jacket collaboration! The purple acid wash pattern is a continuation of the weird hippie feel good vibes and looks even better than we imagined. Fank put the icing on the cake of this graphic creating the hilarious peace sign hand sitting on the chairlift, also featured on our collab Tee. To sum it all up we added Trew’s thumbs-up logo on the tip of the base to help you spread the positive vibez on the slopes.

This is the first time anyone has ever done a matching jacket and ski graphic. We built only 200 pairs of The Vacation skis, and I hand-signed and numbered each pair.
