Eclipse Chair

Sculptural Sacred Geometry Seating in Teak and Leather

The Eclipse Chair by John Brevard is a collectible sculptural furniture piece that exists at the intersection of sacred geometry design, architectural form, and functional art. Designed as a study in balance, proportion, and energetic flow, the chair reflects principles of morphogenic evolution and harmonic geometry—where each curve emerges with intention.

Hand-carved from solid sustainably sourced teak wood, the structure embodies organic architectural movement, revealing a tactile surface enriched by a deep, textured patina finish. The form is both grounded and fluid—anchored in wabi-sabi philosophy, where natural imperfection enhances timeless presence.

A suspended stretched leather seat introduces a refined tension—creating a floating, body-responsive experience that merges comfort with structural elegance. The result is not simply seating, but a piece of wearable architecture for space—a meditative object designed to hold stillness and awareness.

Created for design collectors, architects, and those drawn to high-vibration environments, the Eclipse Chair functions as both luxury seating and a symbolic design object, ideal for minimalist, contemplative, and gallery-level interiors.
