An iteration of the Princesse Ring, the Princesse Hoops are inspired by the jewel-stacked finger of Joséphine-Éléonore-Marie-Pauline de Galard de Brassac de Béarn, the Princesse de Broglie, painted by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, in 1851–53. Princesse de Broglie’s portrait depicts an arrangement of finely tooled jewels made from pearl, enamel, and gold, including a voluminous rope-like band resting in the center. An interpretation for the ear, each hoop maintains the same twisted form, and was designed to sit close to the lobe for a subtle but detailed impression.
The Princess Hoops measure 16mm wide and are crafted in 100% recycled 14k gold or sterling silver and are available in a finish of your choosing (our preference is brushed gold and polished silver as shown in the images).
