Some Black Matte posts are not ready to ship. They are powder coated to order, so please allow about 10 days for powder coating before they ship.
The Round Barebone Post for Custom Railings is a fabrication-ready stainless steel post for custom railing layouts where a standard pre-drilled post does not match the project design, field conditions, infill system, mounting condition, or handrail configuration.
These posts are supplied without predrilled holes for glass clamps, cable fittings, or other infill hardware, giving fabricators, contractors, architects, and experienced installers the flexibility to create project-specific hole patterns, fitting locations, mounting details, and railing assemblies.
Built from a 1.67" / 42.4 mm outside-diameter round stainless steel profile with a 12 gauge / 0.102" / 2.6 mm wall thickness, this post family supports surface-mount, fascia-mount, stair-pivot, and no-flange custom fabrication applications.

These posts are intended for experienced professionals who can complete project-specific drilling, fitting placement, fabrication, anchoring, and installation.
These are not predrilled, plug-and-play railing posts. Final drilling, fitting placement, fabrication, anchoring, and installation must be completed according to project drawings, field conditions, selected railing infill, and applicable building-code requirements.

| 44 3/4" Stair Pivot | Post with an adjustable pivoting surface flange |
| 54 5/8" No-Flange Cone | Extended post with the HBR.CNE.157 cone handrail bracket; no base flange or fascia plate |
Surface-mount posts include a welded base flange. Fascia-mount posts include a screwed fascia plate based on the selected mounting configuration.
Mounting anchors are sold separately and must match the supporting structure. For substrate-specific fastener guidance and recommended approaches, see Anchoring Options for Railing Posts.
For posts with the cone handrail bracket, the selected 36" or 42" height represents the nominal finished railing height with the handrail installed. The handrail shown in the drawings is for reference only and is not included.
For posts without a top handrail bracket, the stated height represents the post height above the finished floor or mounting reference shown in the technical drawings. Confirm final height, guardrail requirements, flange position, hole pattern, and mounting condition before drilling or fabrication.
| 44 3/4" Stair Pivot Post | Includes an adjustable pivoting surface flange for stair and sloped railing applications. Final angle, positioning, and anchoring must be confirmed during installation. |
| 54 5/8" No-Flange Cone Post | Extended round post with the HBR.CNE.157 cone handrail bracket. It does not include a surface base flange or fascia mounting plate. |
The 54 5/8" No-Flange Cone variant is intended for fabricators who will attach their own mounting plate, embed the post, cut it to a project-specific length, or integrate it into another custom assembly. It appears under Surface in the selector for ordering purposes only.
Refer to the technical drawings for post height, finished railing height, overall height, floor-level reference, base and fascia flange dimensions, and mounting-hole configurations.
End caps, base flange covers, handrails, mounting anchors, separate handrail brackets, glass clamps, cable fittings, bar holders, infill hardware, and other railing accessories are not included unless specifically stated in the selected variant.
Compatible components are available from the Handrail Parts collection.
Mounting hardware must be selected for the supporting structure, including concrete, structural steel, wood framing, engineered blocking, fascia framing, or other approved substrates. Due to the variety of floor and fascia surfaces, customers must supply the appropriate connecting hardware for the base or fascia plate, including screws, bolts, anchor bolts, or other project-specific fasteners.

Stair posts and other custom posts may require an additional fee to account for custom post fabrication and CAD drawings specific to customer field measurements when necessary. Custom fabrication requires a minimum of 1–2 weeks for production.
For unusual mounting conditions, project-specific fabrication, or custom post configurations, contact Inline Design with the project dimensions and drawings before ordering.
