The Glass Railing Square Fascia Mount Post with Square Glass Clamps is part of Inline Design’s Chicago Square Style Glass Railing System. This version is designed for side-mounted glass railing installations where the post attaches to the fascia or side face of the structure instead of mounting on top of the walking surface.
Built from a 1.57" x 1.57" / 40 x 40 mm square stainless steel profile with a 12 gauge / 0.102" / 2.6 mm wall thickness, this post is a heavy-duty option for modern glass railing systems that need clean square lines, strong post construction, and square glass clamps.
Use it for balconies, decks, porches, patios, stairs, landings, terraces, indoor railings, outdoor railings, wet or dry locations, residential projects, and commercial projects when installed according to local code, approved mounting conditions, glass requirements, and project-specific engineering.
Glass panels are purchased separately. This post system is designed for use with compatible tempered or laminated glass panels. Verify glass thickness, panel height, panel width, local code requirements, and project-specific engineering before ordering glass.

Safety pins are required for fascia-mounted and side-mounted glass railing applications.
Using the safety pins requires matching notches in the glass. Inline Design recommends two notches at the bottom of each panel, positioned for the two lower safety pins.
The downloadable drawing applies to 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, and 9/16-inch glass. Provide it to the glass fabricator before the panel is ordered or cut, and confirm the clamp orientation and project requirements before fabrication.
