The Square Glass Clamp for Flat Tubing is a core component of the Chicago Square glass railing system, built from premium stainless steel for a sleek, contemporary look with easy, secure installation. It is well suited to pool enclosures, rooftop patios, balconies, garden guardrails, and other glass barrier applications, and is now compatible with 9/16" laminated glass panels.
Each clamp includes an optional safety pin. The glass panel is primarily held in place by compression; the pin acts as a fail-safe, catching the panel if compression is ever lost — recommended especially for fascia-mounted posts, where a fall is a greater hazard than on surface-mounted posts. If you use the safety pins, design panels with two notches per panel, at either the two top clamps or the two bottom clamps; refer to the notch placement drawing below for exact dimensions, since glass thickness varies by manufacturer.
