Designer note: We designed the Corby range around the contrast between raw material character and refined form. The sand-cast metal preserves the texture and subtle irregularities of the making process, while naturally veined alabaster introduces softness and delicacy. On the Diffuser Wall Light, the alabaster centre is framed by a broad cast-metal surround, creating a simple, sculptural composition informed by the geometry and restraint of mid-century design.

The alabaster stone contains natural veining, which is unique to each piece the shade is carved from. Some shades contain prominent dark veining, while others are more pure white. Every alabaster shade is unique.
