BenQ AK800ST 4K Laser Golf Simulator Projector

The BenQ AK800ST is a 4K UHD short throw laser projector built specifically for golf simulators. It pairs 5,000 ANSI lumens with true 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, and its built-in camera handles most of the setup for you—detecting your impact screen, fitting the image to it, and focusing automatically. When the round is over, it switches to movie or gaming mode with one button, making it a strong centerpiece for a hybrid sim and home theater room.

True 4K Detail on Every Hole

The AK800ST projects a full 8.3 million pixels, so fairway mowing lines, bunker edges, and the contours around the green stay sharp across a large impact screen. BenQ's Golf Mode 2.0 uses an AI video processor to tune each frame for the natural greens, blues, and earth tones of real courses, backed by 97% Rec. 709 color coverage, 30-bit color, and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

AI-Powered Setup: Auto Golf Screen Fit 2.0

Camera-based screen detection: The projector reads the shape, size, and curvature of your impact screen and aligns the image to it in seconds.
Smart Warping for curved screens: After the initial auto-fit, add control points to fine-tune geometry on curved or wraparound screens.
Motorized autofocus: One press of the remote sharpens the full image—no ladder required.
1.2x motorized zoom: Adjust image size from the remote without moving the projector after it's mounted.
3D keystone correction: ±30° vertical, horizontal, and rotation adjustment for off-angle installs.
