This yarn is a 2-ply bulky weight worsted spun yarn from the dense, plush wool of Merino sheep living happily in Wyoming. The wool is washed, carded and spun in a family-owned mill in Buffalo Wyoming. BARA BARA SOFT WARES dyes all yarns by hand in San Francisco using sustainably harvested plants and bugs.  

Merino are know for their soft, fine wool.  This yarn is best for scarves, hats, and other next-to-skin garments and accessories.
