The Harvest Cuff was designed as a wedding piece for a couple whose family produce stand held a special place in their heart. It was so much fun that after the project was over, we added our favorite fruits and veggies (and some of yours, too!) to create our official Harvest Cuff.
This piece originally donated to BREADA (Big River Economic and Agricultural Development Alliance).
I first found out about BREADA when I started selling my jewelry in 2008 at the downtown arts market alongside the farmers at the Red Stick Farmers Market. For at least 10 years, I set up my jewelry right next door to our local farmers setting up their produce. I got to know them and what they brought to the table, and it's all so good. They show up with locally grown food fresh from the farm, sometimes that same day.⠀
BREADA gives them a place to connect with the community, and they are committed to "sustainability of small, family farms through direct sales at Farmers Markets. Stewardship of land and community and access to local foods for everyone, regardless of income level".
This cuff fits up to a 7.5" wrist.
MIMOSA bracelets are slightly adjustable. The first time you put your new bracelet on, adjust it one time to a size that slips on and off comfortably.
Our jewelry is solid cast metal, so repeated adjusting can cause it to break!
