Leather cords offer a simple, reliable alternative—flexible like yarn, yet structured enough to keep stitches open and easy to access. Ideal for knitters with multiple projects, they hold live stitches securely without the need for extra needles or waste yarn.

When working a top‑down sweater, sleeve stitches often need to be set aside. Traditional holders can be awkward, and scrap yarn may slip, making stitches harder to pick up later.
