The days immediately after grouting are when a new floor is most exposed. This loose-lay sheeting is put down across the finished surface to take the knocks of the remaining works, and because it breathes, moisture rising out of the fresh grout is never sealed in. The grout keeps its integrity, the tiling settles at its own pace, and nothing is trapped underneath to cause trouble later.
It is made for internal installations and suits domestic and commercial interiors equally. One point of clarity before you order: Ca'Pietra sells this product under the name Fire-Retardant Membrane, but the specification supplied to us describes only breathable, loose-lay protection for curing floors. We hold no fire performance rating, standard or classification for it, so we make no claim on that subject. If your specification calls for a rated material, please ring us before ordering and we will take it up with Ca'Pietra on your behalf.

⚠ How To Use
- Before You Start: Reserve this for internal floors, and wait until the grouting has been completed. The surface should be finished and ready to be left alone.
- Application: Loose-lay it straight over the tiling across the area you want covered. Nothing is bonded down, so it lifts away cleanly when the works are done.
- Coverage & Care: Each sheet covers one square metre. Leave it in position while the tiling cures and dries; its breathability is what stops moisture being held against the grout.
