The Cressi Da Vinci Dive Computer is a modern, full-color wrist computer designed for recreational and advanced recreational divers who want an easy-to-read display, multi-gas Nitrox capability, digital navigation, rechargeable power, and wireless dive-log syncing in one streamlined unit. Its 1.54-inch full-color TFT LCD uses a 240 × 240 resolution with large, bright, color-coded information that makes essential dive data easy to identify at a glance.
Powered by the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm, the Da Vinci supports Air, Nitrox, and Gauge modes, up to four programmable gas mixes, and in-dive gas switching. Customizable conservatism, adjustable PPO₂ settings, user-selectable deep and safety stops, an integrated compass, audible alarms, Bluetooth connectivity, and a rechargeable battery give divers a comprehensive set of tools while maintaining an intuitive wrist-computer format.
The Da Vinci's 1.54-inch full-color TFT screen organizes important dive information into clearly differentiated data fields. Depending on the operating screen and selected settings, the computer can display current depth, no-decompression time, dive time, current gas number, current gas, Maximum Operating Depth for the selected gas, ascent-rate information, and other dive-status data.
During a surface interval, the Da Vinci can display information including elapsed surface time, tissue-loading information, previous dive depth and duration, battery percentage, Bluetooth status, and no-fly information.
Air Mode: Designed for recreational scuba diving using compressed air.
Nitrox Mode: Allows the diver to program enriched-air oxygen percentages and use the computer's multi-gas capabilities when properly trained.
Gauge Mode: Functions as a depth and timing instrument without decompression calculations. Divers using Gauge Mode are responsible for independently managing their dive planning and decompression procedures.
The Da Vinci supports up to four programmable gas mixtures and allows gas switching during a dive. Supported gases include Air, Nitrox mixtures from 22% through 99% oxygen, and 100% oxygen.
Multi-gas diving and the use of high-oxygen-percentage mixtures require appropriate training. Divers should understand oxygen exposure, PPO₂ settings, Maximum Operating Depth, gas identification, and correct gas-switching procedures before using these functions.
The Da Vinci allows the PPO₂ setting to be adjusted from 1.0 to 1.6. This setting is used in conjunction with the selected oxygen percentage and dive plan when calculating gas limits such as Maximum Operating Depth. PPO₂ settings should only be selected by divers who understand oxygen exposure limits and have the appropriate Nitrox training.
The Da Vinci uses the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm to monitor inert-gas loading and calculate information such as no-decompression limits, decompression obligations, and ascent guidance.
Adjustable Gradient Factors allow experienced divers to modify the conservatism of the decompression calculations. More conservative settings generally reduce available no-decompression time and can result in earlier or longer stops. These settings should only be changed by divers who understand their implications.
User-selectable deep and safety-stop functions provide additional control over the displayed ascent profile. Divers should configure these functions in accordance with their training, personal dive procedures, and current dive plan.
An integrated digital compass provides underwater navigation without requiring a separate wrist compass. Heading and reverse-heading functions make it possible to establish a direction of travel and reciprocal course, while compass information can be used alongside the computer's primary dive data.
The Da Vinci connects wirelessly to the DiveSync App on compatible iOS and Android devices. Through the app, divers can transfer dive logs, review dive history, store dive records, and install available firmware updates.
When connected to DiveSync, the system can check for newer firmware and notify the user when an update is available. Cressi has continued to provide software updates for the Da Vinci platform, including Firmware 1.2.2. Always follow the current update instructions provided through Cressi and the DiveSync App.
The Da Vinci uses a built-in rechargeable LiPoHV battery. On a full charge, it provides approximately 30 hours of dive time with display brightness set to 100%. Actual operating time can vary based on brightness, Bluetooth activity, alarm use, water temperature, storage conditions, and general operating habits.
The battery is rated for more than 14,000 operating hours before reaching approximately 80% of its original capacity. It is not intended for routine replacement by the user.
Charging is performed with the included USB-C charging adapter and a standard USB-C cable. The USB-C cable is not included.
The Da Vinci continuously monitors dive information and can provide audible and visual alerts for important conditions including excessive ascent rate, decompression status, PPO₂ limits, depth information, and safety-stop guidance.
Divers should become familiar with all screens, alarms, gas settings, compass functions, and decompression options before relying on the computer underwater.
The standard wrist-strap configuration provides a comfortable conventional fit. An included bungee cord offers an alternative mounting method and can be particularly useful when wearing a drysuit or when the diver prefers an adjustable bungee-style wrist system.
This listing is for the wrist-mounted Cressi Da Vinci. The Da Vinci Wrist and Da Vinci Console are purpose-built as separate products and are not interchangeable. The Console version cannot be converted into a wrist-mounted computer, and the Wrist version cannot be installed into the Console boot.
How long does the Da Vinci battery last?
The Da Vinci provides approximately 30 hours of dive time on a full charge with display brightness set to 100%. Actual runtime varies with settings and operating conditions.
Can the battery be replaced by the user?
No. The built-in LiPoHV battery is designed for long service life and is not intended for routine user replacement.

Rinse the dive computer thoroughly with fresh water after diving, particularly after saltwater use, and allow it to dry before storage or charging. Keep the charging contacts and surrounding hardware clean and free of salt, sand, or debris. Charge and update the computer according to Cressi's instructions and review the operating manual before changing advanced decompression, PPO₂, gas, or safety settings.
The Cressi Da Vinci combines an approachable color-screen interface with features that can continue to serve a diver as their experience grows. Air and standard Nitrox modes cover everyday recreational diving, while four-gas management, adjustable PPO₂, customizable Gradient Factors, in-dive gas switching, a digital compass, and configurable ascent-management features provide added flexibility for appropriately trained divers. Bluetooth logging, rechargeable power, a pre-installed screen protector, and an included bungee setup also make the package unusually complete straight out of the box.
