Inspired by the cobblestone streets of Ghent, the parquet French white oak table-top surface introduces a measured rhythm. While visiting our Belgian textile mill, we were struck by how small, familiar details, repeated daily and often overlooked, can lend enduring charm to even the most ordinary streets. This piece is a tribute to that subtle beauty.

Defined by material honesty, the Ghent Dining Table is crafted entirely from solid French white oak. The parquet pattern breaks the surface into smaller sections, revealing natural grain variation, depth, and character.

When considering this piece, think of the French white oak as passionate, expressive, reactive to its environment, and occasionally unpredictable. If you’d rather not weather the drama, the white oak pieces from our Ojai Collection offer a calmer, more stable partnership.
