Veg peelings, fruit, coffee grounds, leftovers from food prep and much much more along with garden clippings, then balance with a dry "woody" material (like shredded paper or woodier garden waste) to keep airflow and structure.

Because the bin is enclosed and insulated, it's designed maintain temperature up to 140°F to help speed composting rates. Key Feature: Leachate Collection System

The 26 and 52 gallon HOTBIN models include a built-in liquid fertilizer collection system that captures the nutrient-rich liquid produced during composting (often referred to as "compost tea."). An internal reservoir stores the liquid so it can be easily collected via the blue drainage cap.

Once collected it should be watered down with 10 parts water and used around the bases of your plants.
