Ström - meaning current (the flow of water or energy) - is a fitting name for a rod series built around one simple principle: transferring energy smoothly, efficiently and without compromise. Built on more than four decades of experience in rod design, the new Ström series refines the heptagonal (7-sided) blank cross section first seen in the iconic 7X. Featuring a premium flor cork handle, custom carbon reel seat, REC Cerecoil stripping guides, and the highest grade and most refined M40X carbon construction - Ström delivers a lighter, stronger, more responsive rod, with exceptional recovery and tracking. Designed to adapt to a wide range of fishing situations, it is balanced in the hand and dependable on the water, delivering a smooth, connected feel that gives every cast a natural flow.
