The Flow Hive 2+ is an all-in-one backyard beehive system designed to extract honey directly from the hive without disturbing the bees.

This premium model is made from western red cedar and includes an integrated pest management system, dual observation windows, and an optional hive stand to keep your hive level, dry and off the ground.

Premium timber

Exclusive to the Flow Hive 2+ is the western red cedar timber. This timber is widely considered one of the best materials for building beehives as it is naturally rot-resistant, lightweight, and provides superb insulation.

Easy Honey Harvesting System

Flow's easy honey harvesting works by inserting the Flow Key and splitting the BPA- and BPS-free food-grade plastic foundation cells. The honey then simply flows into the trough, through the tube and into your jar. You no longer require expensive processing equipment, heavy lifting or hours of hot, sticky work to harvest honey.

Integrated Pest Management

Features a bottom mesh screen and a slide-out multifunctional tray made of recycled polypropylene. This layout allows beekeepers to inspect for Varroa mites or small hive beetles and apply treatments safely.

Ventilation Control

The unique ventilation control system allows you to support your bees as the seasons change by increasing or decreasing airflow depending on external weather conditions.

Ant Guard Protection

The powder-coated aluminium adjustable hive stand features Ant Guards that provide a space for creating a liquid ant barrier to stop pests from climbing up the hive legs.

Levelling and Alignment

The adjustable hive stand enables you to precisely adjust the height and level of your hive, even on uneven ground. The base contains two built-in spirit levels to assist the beekeeper in ensuring a perfect backward slope required for honey harvesting and to allow the bees to build naturally straight comb in the brood box.

Observation Windows

Flow Frames’ unique clear end-frame view and side observation windows let you see inside without taking off the lid and bothering the bees.
