A jack-o’-lantern with a little fire still burning inside.

Hand-painted against Rochelle’s warm, naturally speckled clay, this wonderfully characterful pumpkin glows in fiery shades of ember orange, red and yellow. Deep charcoal surrounds his expressive face, creating the impression of a jack-o’-lantern illuminated from within.

The earthy clay, softly glazed rim and loose, expressive brushwork give the piece a rustic folk-art quality — perfectly imperfect and full of old-fashioned Halloween character.
