The Mimbreno ice cream shell is a ceramic dessert bowl in the shell form that was part of the original Fred Harvey dining car service. The Mimbres motifs, drawn from ancient pottery of southwestern New Mexico and adapted by Mary Colter for the Super Chief dining cars in 1937, make this a dessert piece with a story behind it. Ceramic, handcrafted in Tucson by HF Coors, the authorized manufacturer of Mimbreno reproductions.
Carefully crafted, kiln-fired, and artisan crafted at our Tucson, Arizona facility.
