Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the 377 Kispi Towel was created to anticipate the completion of the University Children’s Hospital in Zürich. The name of the towel comes from the local nickname of the hospital, Kispi, and the internal H&dM project number, 377.   

The towel takes its shape from the floorplan of the hospital, including its 16 courtyards. Pink, the only strong color applied in homeopathic doses throughout the building, was therefore the clear choice for this iteration.
