An EWG-Verified and Safer Choice Certified Fragrance Free Luxury Laundry Detergent That Cleans Without Compromise

It's laundry day, and you've got a decision to make. Do you choose a detergent that's effective at removing tough dirt, stains, and odors but loaded with harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and damaging ingredients that harm skin and fabrics? Or do you pick one of the so-called gentle detergents that are safe and natural but don't deliver the cleaning performance you need?

We think your laundry is no place to compromise. Welcome to the world of Heritage Park.

Clean, Safe, and Effective Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent

Our All-Purpose non toxic laundry detergent puts the age-old debate of clean laundry vs. gentle care forever to rest. The pH-neutral, formula is made with a short list of natural ingredients – and completely free from the harsh chemicals that damage fabric and irritate skin. Instead, Heritage Park cleans with a powerful proprietary blend of laundry enzymes that break down, release and remove stubborn stains to leave your laundry fresh, clean, and odor free. You can use it in any temperature; in regular and HE machines; and for everything from your family's clothing, towels, and bedding to luxury linens, delicates, and baby clothes.

Heritage Park Sensitive Skin Laundry Detergent is a concentrated, fragrance-free liquid detergent formulated for sensitive skin and everyday washable items, including clothing, bedding, and towels.

Its five-enzyme cleaning system uses protease, amylase, pectate lyase, mannanase, and lipase to help break down a wide range of common stains and soils.

The formula is EWG VERIFIED and EPA Safer Choice certified and has undergone independent clinical skin-safety testing. Clinical patch testing classified the formula as a non-dermal irritant and non-dermal sensitizer. A board-certified dermatologist and board-certified pediatrician reviewed and signed the report.

The formula contains no added fragrance and is formulated without borates, optical brighteners, isothiazolinones (MI/BIT), or dyes.

The pH-neutral formula works in high-efficiency (HE) and standard washing machines, as well as for hand washing. It is designed for everyday washable laundry, including whites, dark colors, baby clothes, clothing, bedding, and towels.

For silk, wool, cashmere, alpaca, and other protein-based fibers, use Heritage Park Silk & Wool Delicates Laundry Detergent, which is specifically formulated without enzymes.

Heritage Park Does It All: The Many Benefits of Our All-Purpose Earth Friendly Laundry Detergent

🌿
Safe, Natural Ingredients: Our laundry soap formula is made with a short list of naturally derived ingredients. No dyes, phosphates, sulfates, chlorine, bleach, or optical brighteners for safe, healthy cleaning and stain removal.
💪
Effective on Dirt and Stains: Most stains are compounds of multiple substances (for example, a chocolate ice cream stain contains proteins, starches, sugars, and gums). The cleaning power of targeted enzyme blend attacks and breaks down those individual stain components – layer by layer – to release and remove them, leaving your fabric clean and smelling fresh.
🧺
Multi-Use Formula: Use to wash clothing, home linen, delicates, and home textiles made of cotton, polyester, bamboo, wood fiber, synthetics, blends, and more*. Works in HE and Standard washing machine styles in hot, warm, cool, and cold water. Can also be used to hand-wash, to presoak, or to pretreat any tough stain.
👕
Won't Harm Fabric or Skin: This pH-neutral eco-friendly detergent won't harm fabric or skin. Most commercial detergent contains harsh chemicals that make it too alkaline which irritates skin.
🤧
Hypoallergenic and Non-Irritating: Our fragrance-free variety is independently lab-certified Hypoallergenic and pediatrician- and dermatologist-tested. Safe for sensitive or allergy-prone skin with no fragrances or harsh chemicals. Laundry smells naturally clean, fresh, and odor free.
🌎
Environmentally Friendly: Concentrated formula contains no excess water. Biodegradable and safe for greywater and septic systems. Easy refill pouches save money and plastic.
ℹ️
Our enzymatic laundry detergent (or biological detergents in general) are not recommended for wool, cashmere, or other protein-based washable fabrics. For these materials use our Silk and Wool Detergent.

How Heritage Park Stacks Up Against Other "Sensitive Skin" Detergents

Choosing a detergent for sensitive skin or luxury fabrics can be daunting. While many brands claim to be gentle, few meet the highest standards for ingredient safety and skin-friendliness.

Here's how Heritage Park's Fragrance-Free All-Purpose Laundry Detergent compares to popular "free and clear" options -- so you can feel confident you're choosing the very best for your skin, your family, and your fine washables:

¹ MI / BIT Preservative Free: Unlike mass-market brands that use Methylisothiazolinone (MI) and Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) — harsh synthetic chemicals often named "Allergen of the Year" — Heritage Park is 100% free of these common triggers for eczema and contact dermatitis.

² Optical Brightener Free: Most detergents use chemical dyes called optical brighteners that stay on your clothes to "trick" the eye into seeing whiteness. These chemicals don't actually clean; they only leave behind a toxic residue that can irritate sensitive skin and harm aquatic life.

^* Arm & Hammer is "SkinSafe 100%" certified but does not carry the same independent Dermatologist-Tested clinical label as Heritage Park.

Fragrance-Free Hypoallergenic Formula That Won't Irritate Your Skin

Heritage Park Sensitive Skin laundry detergent is designed for people with sensitive skin and those who prefer fragrance-free laundry care. Our five-enzyme formula has undergone independent clinical patch testing and was classified as a non-dermal irritant and non-dermal sensitizer. The clinical test results were reviewed and signed by a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified pediatrician.

The fragrance-free formula is also suitable for washing baby clothes, clothing, bedding, towels, and household linens. If you prefer a light scent, explore our Lavender Mist, Shore Breeze, and Spring Magnolia varieties.

Why Our Concentrated Luxury Liquid Laundry Detergent is Your Best Choice

We realize you have many options in choosing the best laundry detergent type for your family: natural laundry detergent pods, laundry sheets, classic powder detergent, and even old-fashioned washing soda and bar laundry soap. But our concentrated liquid detergent formula is the very best choice you can make for your laundry, your family, and the environment. We use only a short list of natural ingredients and make our detergent in small batches for the ultimate quality control. A concentrated laundry soap formula means less water (most commercial detergents are primarily water) and less plastic packaging (smaller bottles). You can also reuse your bottle with our eco-friendly refill packs. Unlike pre-measured laundry pods or messy powder detergent, our easy-to-use measuring cap gives you total control over the amount of detergent you use. It's total cleaning power with zero waste!

What Does EWG-Verified Mean?

The EWG Verified badge is a certification awarded by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to products that meet their strictest standards for health and transparency. It indicates that our products are free of chemicals of concern and meet their high standards for ingredient disclosure and formulation. EWG-Verified is awarded to only the top 2.5 percent of products.

What Does EPA Safer Choice Certified Mean?

The EPA Safer Choice label means that every ingredient in this product, regardless of its concentration, has been reviewed against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's stringent standards for human health and environmental safety. Safer Choice-certified products must also meet requirements for cleaning performance, ingredient disclosure, pH, and packaging. This helps you choose an effective detergent made with safer chemical ingredients for your family and the environment.
