Patented Features
Tom knew that the people of Central America sleep diagonally in their hammocks. So, with that knowledge, he changed the shape of his hammock into his patented asymmetrical design which lets you lie level on the diagonal with excellent support under your lower back and knees.
Because tree spacing is always different, the curve of a hammock is always different. The patented structural ridge line ensures the same shape every time you set up your hammock. This is the first time in history that you have the exact same comfortable bed every night and a perfect setup every time
Asymmetrical hammock shape (US Patent US6865757B2); Structural ridge line patent (US patent US20090165205A1) Also patented in the UK, EU, AUS/NZ, and Canada.

This product is just outstanding. It’s lightweight, compact, portable and comfortable. I will never ever bring a tent again in camping. This hammock is way better.
You can set it up anywhere where there are two trees or anchor points. It doesn’t matter if the ground is uneven. It doesn’t even matter if there is a ground at all. I’ve set this hammock on top of rocks, small trees and even water (be careful while getting out of the hammock if you do install on top of water). The installation takes about 3 minutes if you’re used to it and 5-6 mins if you’re a beginner. I would strongly recommend that you install it once at your home before going on a trip with it for two reasons : you will know how to install it and the rain tarp will already be installed which will save you time in camping. I also bought the snake skin which is in my opinion really useful. It makes the uninstall much easier.
Contrary to what I thought at first, sleeping in a hammock is really comfortable. I have never had a bad night of sleep in my hammock. The hammock is roomy and is easy to get in.
The hammock has two small pocket hanging on the string that keeps the rain tarp tensioned. It’s really useful to store a flashlight and other stuff you might need in your hammock (I kept bear banger in when I went backcountry canoeing).
The first time it rained while camping with my hammock I was a bit scared about what would happen. I shouldn’t have. I haven’t received a drop of rain even on stormy weather. This hammock is just amazing. It kept me dry when tent would have probably failed. You can also put your backpack under your hammock and it should keep it dry if your hammock is not too high off the ground.
The netting keeps you away from any mosquitos and bugs. This model comes with a zip that is easy to use.
One thing that you should consider when sleeping in a hammock is bringing an emergency blanket or a small blanket to keep your back warm. Your back will gets cold if you only have a sleeping bag.
I will never go back to sleeping in a tent especially while backpacking. This hammock is just so practical it’s unbelievable.
