Bring the charm of double roses to the front of your garden with Apricot Drift® (Rosa 'Meimirrote'). Small apricot-colored flowers cluster above dark-green, glossy foliage on a low, spreading plant, adding soft color without the height of a large shrub rose.
Picture a sunny path edged with apricot blooms, or a low mound of flowers softening the edge of a mixed border. Its compact habit makes it especially useful where you want roses close enough to appreciate without blocking neighboring plants.
This listing offers a 3 Gallon nursery container. Container size is not the mature plant size and does not guarantee flowers at delivery.
Allow room for the approximately 2½-foot spread, with access and airflow between plants. Use it along sunny borders, in a mass planting, or in a suitably sized container with drainage. Container plants need closer moisture monitoring and protection for exposed roots in cold climates.
The Drift® care guide recommends annual pruning in late winter or early spring as new shoots begin to appear. Cutting back to approximately 6–8 inches helps maintain a plant around 1½–2 feet tall; adjust timing to local conditions. Remove damaged or weak growth and wear gloves when working around rose canes.
Repeat flowering does not mean every stem will carry flowers continuously. Sunlight, weather, water, and plant maturity influence the display. Good disease resistance still benefits from appropriate spacing, watering, and regular inspection. A spreading canopy can fill a bed over time, but it does not replace weed control.
Choose Apricot Drift® for double apricot blooms and a manageable, low-growing rose that brings warmth to a sunny garden.
