Ragin' Red™ Dogwood: Red From Spring to Fall

The Ragin' Red™ Dogwood (Cornus florida 'JN13') sets itself apart with some of the deepest red flower bracts of any dogwood. Spring brings dark red blooms, followed by red-tinged new growth, red berries that songbirds love, and rich burgundy fall foliage.

Why You'll Love It

• Deep red spring blooms: one of the reddest flowering dogwoods available
• Three-season interest: red flowers in spring, red berries in fall, burgundy autumn foliage
• Wildlife friendly: blooms attract pollinators and berries attract songbirds
• Deer resistant: less browsing damage than many landscape plants
• Manageable size: roughly 15 to 25 feet tall at maturity, a good fit for smaller yards

Growing Zones & Care

Hardy in USDA zones 5 through 8. Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil and water during dry spells. A layer of mulch helps keep the roots cool and moist through summer.
