Owning a Jacques Marie Mage frame is like owning a piece of fine art. We love their small-batch mentality and jewel box-like presentation. With a numbered certificate of authenticity and a story to tell, it’s hard to not become a collector.
The Balthazar by Jacques Marie Mage is a limited-edition sunglass from the new JMM by Haider Ackermann sub-collection. The acclaimed designer, who has led the creative direction of Berluti, Canada Goose, and Tom Ford, brings his distinctive vision to a sophisticated round silhouette. Handcrafted in Japan, the frame pairs a sculptural cellulose-based acetate front with slender beta titanium temples, finely engraved arrowhead detailing, and signature temple tips with hand-painted epoxy accents. Each pair comes with a a custom monograph box set for the collection, with black eyewear case, oversized "pocket square”cleaning cloth, commemorative silk scarf, and a letterpress authenticity card.
Jacques Marie Mage believes strongly in stewardship; a portion of every frame sold goes towards wildlife conservation, benefiting the Yellowstone Forever foundation and the Living With Wolves project.
