Complete your can-shaped beverage packaging with this 55mm Clear Plastic Overcap. Designed as an outer cover, it fits over a compatible metal lid after the metal lid has been machine-sealed onto the cup. It does not attach directly to an unsealed cup rim or replace the metal closure. Each case contains 4,000 plastic overcaps only; cups and metal lids are sold separately.

Outer Cover for a Sealed Metal Lid — Use this plastic overcap on a compatible 55mm can-shaped PET cup only after the metal lid has been applied with suitable sealing equipment. It is an additional cover, not the primary beverage seal.

Metal Sealing Comes First — First machine-seal the compatible metal lid onto the cup, then fit the plastic overcap over the sealed top. The plastic cover cannot be used alone on the bare cup opening.

55mm System Compatibility — The listed size is 55mm, approximately 2.17 inches. Confirm the complete cup, metal lid and plastic overcap combination before ordering; diameter alone does not guarantee fit across different packaging systems.

Clear Plastic Finish — The transparent round cover complements clear can-shaped drinkware while leaving the metal lid visible beneath it. The overcap does not establish leak-proof performance, pressure retention or suitability for hot filling.
