THE FORT MOULTRIE FLAG:

Own a replica of the first American flag flown in the South during the Revolutionary War! This iconic design features a white crescent on a deep blue background, sometimes including the word "LIBERTY" in white.

Designed in 1775 by Colonel William Moultrie, this flag gained fame during the heroic defense of Fort Sullivan (later Fort Moultrie) in June 1776. It inspired Sergeant William Jasper's legendary act of bravery and later became the foundation for South Carolina's state flag.
