Originally built for long-distance trail running, the XT-6 has become an icon of Salomon’s Sportstyle line, valued for the comfort, cushioning and durability it was designed around.

The upper combines tough TPU film with mesh, keeping it light and streamlined while holding up to wear. An endoFit™ inner sleeve and sensiFIT™ construction wrap the midfoot, and quickLACE™ tightens with a single pull, with a pocket to stow the laces. EVA cushioning and a moulded OrthoLite® sockliner soften each landing. The agileCHASSIS and lug geometry, originally designed for long downhill runs, add stability. A Mud Contagrip® rubber outsole provides grip, and a protective toecap guards the front.

All of that trail engineering carries into everyday wear, which is why the XT-6 has stayed in rotation for so long.
