The Hugo pairs a strong rectangular profile with gently lifted outer corners, giving Monokel’s restrained design a little more emphasis. Its substantial brow is balanced by rounded lower edges, keeping the shape approachable for everyday wear.

Made from Japanese plant-based Takiron acetate, the Cola frame has a warm, translucent appearance. Brown gradient CR39 lenses continue the tonal palette, fading towards the lower edge to give the frame a lighter visual finish.

Stainless steel rivet hinges and Teflon-coated screws complete the construction. Full UV protection makes the Hugo suitable for everyday use, while the warm colouring offers an easy alternative to a dark, opaque frame.
